We’ve got some exciting news to share and we’re glad you’re here to find out.
First off, if you’re one of the many people we’ve talked with over the past few months, please know that we treasure you and how you’ve been so supportive. We’ve had a rough go of it, but are trusting for better days ahead. Thank you for being there for us.
Let’s get right to it. We don’t want this to be a recipe blog where you have to read an 800 page biography before you finally see the ingredients.
We’ve known for a long time that we want to be part of a community where people are met wherever they’re at in faith.
The skeptics can bring their doubts.
The explorers can bring their questions.
Wanderers find open arms to come home to.
Hungry hearts and minds are fed solid food.
This community of different people meets together and builds true friendships, offers each other incredible hospitality, gives one another their time and talents, always looks to welcome more in, and approaches it all humbly, knowing that we’re all so flawed yet so unbelievably loved.
We do this and more because at the core is the good news that Jesus knows every one of our flaws, sin, and brokenness and loves us out of all of it. It’s His gospel that moves us into community, hospitality, welcoming the wanderers, and reaching out to the hurting.
We want to be part of a community where people hear about the goodness of Jesus in accessible everyday language and are inspired to carry out His ways in their lives. We desire a place where we can invite our unchurched friends and neighbors, knowing that they’ll be able to understand because they’ve been thought of and a seat has been saved for them.
And if you read this and you’re thinking “hey, that’s what church should be like”, maybe you’re ready for something new.
